Membership and donations are both valuable ways to support the CCDA community — but they are not the same thing.
A donation is a gift that supports our work and is usually tax-deductible. A membership connects you to our community, giving you access to special benefits, resources, and event discounts — but it is not generally tax-deductible. Both help us grow, but they serve different purposes.
CCDA manages these separately using two different systems:
One for membership
One for donations
This means:
You’ll use one account to manage your membership benefits (like access to resources and conference discounts).
You’ll use a different account to manage your donations (like monthly giving or year-end gifts).
These accounts do not connect to each other. So if you update something in one, it won’t change in the other.
What You Need to Know✅ You can use the same email for both accounts.
🔒 You’ll need to set up each account separately.
📧 Donations will not show up in your membership account (and vice versa).
🔁 Changes like email or password must be done in both accounts, one at a time.
1. Why are there two accounts?
We use different systems to make each experience (membership and giving) better.
2. Can I use the same email for both?
Yes! But they’re still separate accounts.
3. I donated — why don’t I see it in my membership account?
That’s normal! Donations are tracked in a different system. Email [email protected] if you need your donation history or a receipt.
4. I changed my password — why didn’t it update both accounts?
Because they are separate. You'll need to update it in both places.
5. Can I give a donation when I become a member?
Right now, donations and membership signups are done separately.
6. Where do I log in to manage each one?
Use the links below:
🔹 Membership Login: [Insert Membership Portal Link]
🔹 Donation Login: [Insert Donation Portal Link]
7. I’m confused. Can someone help me?
Of course!
