Is the RFP currently open?
- Only current CCDA members are eligible to submit proposals. Membership must be maintained through the completion of the conference. Proposals submitted by non-members will not be considered.
How do I log in to submit a proposal?
- Click on the Submit a Proposal button. Log in with the email your CCDA membership is associated with and the form will populate.
What must be included in the workshop outline?
Your outline must clearly identify:
- Two concrete tools or takeaways
- At least one interactive or participatory activity
- Alignment between content and stated outcomes
- Practical application supported by story where appropriate
- Time management that allows audience/participant engagement
- An understanding of the intended audience
- Integration of your session format
Are workshops allowed to promote products, services, or organizations?
- No. Workshops may not function as advertisements, promotions, or sales pitches. If you wish to promote a product or service, please explore exhibitor or sponsorship opportunities through ccda.org/sponsor.
What criteria are used to review proposals?
Proposals are evaluated using a rubric that considers:
- Alignment with a workshop track and CCDA’s mission
- Clarity and cohesion of title, description, outcomes, and outline
- Practical application and participatory design
- Resource sharing
- Presenter diversity
- Adherence to all stated workshop requirements
What is the compensation or benefit for presenters?
- Presenters with accepted proposals receive conference registration for $99. Travel, lodging, and meals are not covered.
What if my proposal is not accepted?
- If your proposal is not selected, CCDA will honor the March registration rate of $199 for up to 3 presenters listed on the application.
When will presenters be notified?
- During the month of May.
Is the RFP currently open?
- The RFP is currently open between February 2, 2026 until 11:59pm PST on March 3, 2026. No late submissions will be accepted.
